Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FirstScan EMS ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

FirstScan EMS provides an intelligent operations platform for emergency medical services, including patient care reporting, dispatch integration, continuity of care tools, and agency analytics.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You shall not use the Platform to violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property, or compromise system security.

5. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to patient data, operational data, and other content you input into the Platform. We claim no ownership over your data and will not access it except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including all software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by FirstScan EMS and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FirstScan EMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 60 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
